This condo was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and a milestone birthday in Waikiki. Kuhio beach, food, entertainment, shopping were all just steps away. Check-in was easy breezy. The condo was clean and comfortable. We were able to get some groceries so we could make breakfast a few mornings of our stay. All appliances worked and there were dishes and cutlery stocked for two. There was nothing that Mark didn't think of - there was even nail polish remover under the bathroom sink! The Bamboo did have a day during our stay where the water was turned off between 11-2pm and we did not have hot water for a day and a half, but that was not the owner's fault. Will be back to Mark's property and happily refer to friends and family. Perfect location for us. Was first trip without kids in 23 years. Did not disappoint. Pool area is gorgeous, with small tropical vibe restaurant opened in the evenings. Didn't eat there but smelled amazing. No liquor license but ABC stores everywhere, just down the street. Mark's little details for added privacy within the unit works well. Tropical tint type privacy on the slider glass. Our stay was wonderful. The property was located in a great spot, close to the beach, restaurants and shops; and just a short drive to hiking trails. The pool area was beautiful. The room was clean and updated, there was plenty of space for both of us for the week. It was nice to open up the balcony and get some fresh air. We had a great stay. It was so nice to have a pool and hot tub after a long hot day adventuring around Oahu. The bus stop is just a block away and for $5.50 you can go anywhere on Oahu. Its a great alternative to an expensive car and parking. The unit had just the right about of amenities and was clean. The lobby and outdoor areas were a nice place to hang out. We will be back! Small, yet comfortable and was perfect for our weekend in Waikiki. We didn't need much for a weekend stay. The hotel did seem to have the basics from the coffee area, down to the pool area. Parking is next door and somewhat expensive, but again you're in Waikiki. Place is a short walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and bars on the beach.
