Diamond Head Beach - Queen Studio with Balcony - Ocean View

Can't say enough good things about this place. The views from the balcony are stunning, with Diamond Head and Honolulu on one side and the ocean on the other. I even slept on the balcony one night because it was so relaxing and scenic. The common area downstairs is also an incredible spot to take in the sunset off the Pacific. No issues with check-in or anything really. Bathroom and shower were nice, bed was comfy. Free parking on the other side of the park, easy little walk. About a 15-minute walk to the main strip in Waikiki. Mark checked in to see if everything was OK and it definitely was. Mark's place was wonderful! It's walking distance to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but you're not in it at the end of the day. A guaranteed beautiful of the sunset each evening and easy access to water. Street parking worked well for us, but we're from San Francisco where we're accustom to walking to a car that might not be directly in front of our house. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The balcony provided a great view of the ocean and Diamond Head. I loved the location near the park and Waikiki Beach. If you are happy to walk or pay for an Uber ($10-$15 to Waikiki and to Diamond Head) it's a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Beautiful views of the ocean and diamond Head. The condo was very clean and Mark was wonderful to communicate with. It took us about 15 minutes to walk into the heart of Waikiki. Parking wasn't an issue. Very good value. - (May 2023 - VRBO)

Stunning views, perfect location, super accommodating host, clean and convenient...Mark's place is ideal for anyone wanting to experience Waikiki. I like how it's not in the heart of Waikiki and still close enough to walk anywhere but far enough away not to be entirely crazy. Mark's place is so gorgeous! You can see the beach with ocean waves on the one side of the lanai while appreciating diamond head and the whole Manoa area on the other side. It's within walking distance to many attractions and there's a bus stop right under the building. Parking works well for us on Paki Ave as well. My husband and I had an amazing 8 days staying at Mark's property. The property is exactly as listed and perfect for two people. We rented a vehicle and had no issue with parking overnight at the metered spots or just across the park during the day if needed. We also walked into the Waikiki beach area for dinner several evenings as well (about one mile)! The garden area is beautiful and has plenty of seating for pre dinner drinks and morning coffee. Exactly as advertised. Mark is a great host, always checking in during the entire reservation/stay process. Very responsive and timely. Property is well-positioned if you do not want the noise and hassle of downtown, but want to be able to frequent all the good restaurants; easy walking distance with delightful views along the way. Property has a private lanai that abuts the ocean. Extremely peaceful, serene and calming. Free parking is available across the park, but if travelling alone, be aware that dragging a suitcase across the park is a tad cumbersome. I absolutely loved this well stocked unit. It's at the end of the hallway, so no one walks by your window.. It has amazing views of Diamond Head, the park and of course the ocean. The outdoor sittng area is perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing and sunset watching. A beautiful beach is like a 3 minute walk away. There is a well stocked convenient store just before the beach. We enjoyed our brief stay at Mark's condo. It's a straightforward studio (no kitchen, but a helpful kitchenette area) in a building that's right on the water at the quiet end of Waikiki. We were usually able to find parking just a couple minutes away across the lovely park. The AC was pretty loud when trying to sleep, but opening the door and window brought in a really nice cross breeze. The location was great for feeling like you're not right in the hustle and bustle of touristy Waikiki, but still being walking distance from the zoo, aquarium, shops, hotels, and restaurants. We loved the views of the beach and Diamond Head, and in particular enjoyed the garden area for watching the crystal blue waves roll in. This location was perfect for our adventures to Diamond Head, Waikiki, and the Capitol building. Well kept and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. The view from all 3 sides (because it's an end unit) were spectacular! The city, the ocean, the park and fountain across the street and Diamond Head.
